Man United end interest in signing 26-year-old defender – report
Man United are no longer interested in a potential deal to sign Leicester City defender Harry Maguire, according to a report in England

Manchester United have pulled out of the race to sign Leicester City defender Harry Maguire, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are no longer interested in the England international after Leicester quoted Manchester United £100m for the defender.
The same article states that the 20-time English champions were willing to pay in the region of £60m for the 26-year-old centre-half.
According to the same story, Leicester wanted £90m up front as well as £10m in add-ons for the former Hull City defender.
The Daily Mirror go on to state that Premier League champions Manchester City remain interested in Maguire.
But the report adds that it’s unclear whether Manchester City are willing to meet Leicester’s valuation of the defender.
Liverpool FC set a new transfer record for a defender when Jurgen Klopp signed Netherlands international Virgil van Dijk in a £75m deal from Southampton in 2018 January transfer window.
Maguire moved to Leicester in a £17m deal from Hull in the 2017 summer transfer window.
The England star saw his stock rise following his performance at the 2018 World Cup where Gareth Southgate’s men reached the semi-finals before an extra-time loss to Croatia.
Maguire scored three times in 36 games in the Premier League last term.
