Man United in ‘final stages’ of Harry Maguire deal – report
Manchester United are in the "final stages" of completing a deal to sign Leicester star Harry Maguire, according to a report

Manchester United are in the latter stages of finalising a deal for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire, according to a report in Italy.
Italian media website Gianluca di Marzio, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Manchester United are in the ‘closing stages’ of making the England international their third signing of the summer transfer window.
The same article states that Maguire has expressed a desire to move to Manchester United after it become apparent that the Red Devils were serious in their interest.
According to the same story, Leicester are now resigned to losing Maguire this summer as Manchester United look to conclude a deal for the powerful centre-half by 8 August.
The report goes on to suggest that the 20-time English champions will make Maguire the most-expensive defender in the world after making an £80m bid for the 26-year-old.
Manchester United have already signed Swansea City midfielder Daniel James and Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the current transfer window.
The Red Devils conceded more goals in the Premier League last season than champions Manchester City and runners up Liverpool FC combined.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will start the new Premier League season with a clash against Chelsea FC at Old Trafford on 11 August.
