Jose Mourinho told 25-year-old can thrive at Man United
Wes Brown tells Manchester United to sign Leicester City defender Harry Maguire

Wes Brown has backed Manchester United’s pursuit of Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
The England international has been linked with a potential move to Manchester United over the past few weeks as the Red Devils look to improve their centre-half options.
The 20-time English champions have been left frustrated in their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld as Spurs look to secure a £75m transfer fee.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is thought to be willing to spend £65m on Maguire despite his lack of experience in the Champions League so far.
Maguire earned rave reviews for his performances in England’s World Cup campaign in Russia this summer after Gareth Southgate’s men reached the semi-final stage.
The Leicester star scored in England’s 2-0 win over Sweden in the World Cup quarter-finals to help the Three Lions reach the last four for the first time since 1990.
Former Manchester United defender Brown has urged the Red Devils to complete a deal to sign Maguire in the summer transfer window.
“Maguire had a fantastic tournament and has been really good for Leicester since joining them from Hull,” Brown told 888sport.
“He’s shown that he can play on the world stage. That’s the sort of player Manchester United need. He knows the Premier League and knows what it’s about.
“I never talk about the money side of it because if a player will strengthen your team then the transfer fee is what it is. I don’t talk about the money. All I care about is whether he will be good for the team and he definitely would be a great signing.”
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last term to secure their continued participation in the Champions League.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final last term thanks to Eden Hazard’s winner from the penalty spot.
