Journalist warns Man United will find it difficult to sign 29-year-old Serie A star
Italian reporter Paolo Baldini pours cold water on talk of Manchester United signing Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic

Manchester United will find it more difficult to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this summer, according to Italian journalist Paolo Baldini.
The Croatia international was extremely close to a move to Manchester United last season but the Red Devils couldn’t agree a fee with Inter Milan.
The Inter winger has been linked with a switch to Manchester United this summer following his impressive performances in Russia.
Jose Mourinho was in Russia working as a pundit as Perisic helped Croatia to reach the World Cup final for the first time.
Perisic scored Croatia’s equaliser in a 2-1 extra-time win over England to set up a final meeting with France in Moscow.
The Manchester United target got on the score sheet in a 4-2 loss to France in the World Cup showpiece.
Inter managed to qualify for the Champions League following their top-four finish in Serie A last term.
Italian reporter Baldini believes Manchester United will find it difficult to sign Perisic from the San Siro side.
“In some ways it’s less because Inter can offer Perisic Champions League football and they are in a stronger financial position,” Baldini told ESPN FC.
“It has shifted in Inter’s favour.”
Perisic has scored 29 times in 107 league games over the past three seasons at Serie A giants Inter Milan.
The Croatian winger has previously played for Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg and Club Brugge.
