Jamie Redknapp: The signings Man United must make this summer
Jamie Redknapp urges Manchester United to bring in some proven attacking talent in the summer transfer window

Jamie Redknapp says Manchester United need to bolster their strike-force in the summer transfer window to add a clinical edge to their attacking play.
The Red Devils once again struggled to break down Premier League opposition at Old Trafford on Saturday as they were held to a frustrating goalless draw by West Brom.
Jose Mourinho’s men have relied heavily on summer signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score the majority of their goals this season, with the Swede having netted 26 times in all competitions.
However, Manchester United have struggled in his absence and once again failed to net as he sat out Saturday’s game due to suspension.
There is bound to be plenty of speculation linking the Red Devils with a host of new players in the coming weeks and months as the summer transfer window draws ever nearer.
And former Tottenham midfielder Redknapp feels that bringing in some proven attacking talent must be the Red Devils’ priority ahead of next season.
Writing in his column for The Daily Mail, Redknapp said: “It cannot be right that if Zlatan Ibrahimovic does not play, Manchester United do not score.
“When I played against United, at times there would be seven or eight men in your box trying to score.
“It sometimes felt like there were 13 United players on the pitch. I used to count them to make sure Fergie wasn’t up to any tricks!
“Sir Alex’s sides had the mentality to score as many as possible but since he retired the players have been too worried about what happens if they lose the ball.
“How often now do you see United flood the box with six or seven players to get a winner? United have struggled to unlock the door this season and it is something they must sort out in the summer.”
