Man United in talks to sign 30-year-old goalkeeper – report
Man United are looking to complete a deal to sign FC Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillissen, according to a report in Spain

Manchester United are working on a deal to sign FC Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, according to a report in Spain.
Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Red Devils are eager to sign the Netherlands international this summer.
The same article states that Manchester United are preparing for the possibility that they may need a new number one goalkeeper if David De Gea refuses to commit to a new deal.
According to the same story, the 20-time English champions are ready to meet FC Barcelona’s asking price of £22m for the Dutch shot-stopper.
The report goes on to add that Manchester United are facing competition from Benfica but the Portuguese side have failed to meet Cillessen’s demands.
Cillessen secured a switch to FC Barcelona from Ajax in a €13m transfer in the 2016 summer transfer window following his promising displays for the Netherlands team.
The Dutch shot-stopper has struggled to secure regular first-team football at Camp Nou and the Dutchman has only made five league appearances in the past three seasons at the Catalan side.
Cillessen has been used as FC Barcelona’s cup goalkeeper with a grand total of 31 games in all competitions after falling behind current number one Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the pecking order.
