Jose Mourinho raves about new Man United signing
The Manchester United manager delivers his verdict on Portuguese defender Diogo Dalot

Jose Mourinho has heaped praise on new Manchester United signing Diogo Dalot.
The Red Devils have signed the Portuguese full-back in a £17m deal from FC Porto to improve Mourinho’s options in defence.
Dalot has limited experience in the FC Porto first-team despite featuring in their 5-0 aggregate loss to Liverpool FC in the Champions League round of 16 last term.
Manchester United have suffered an early blow given Dalot is currently injured with a knee problem and won’t feature for the Red Devils until September.
Furthermore, Ecuador international and Manchester United captain Antonio Valencia picked up an injury during pre-season training to leave Mourinho short on options at right-back.
Speaking to Manchester United’s website about Dalot ahead of the new season, Mourinho talked up the Portuguese defender’s potential.
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last season to finish above Spurs and Liverpool FC.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley last season following Eden Hazard’s winner from the penalty spot.
Manchester United have also signed Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and Stoke City goalkeeper Lee Grant in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils haven’t won the title since 2013.
