Martin Keown identifies signing Man United need to make this summer
The Arsenal legend believes Manchester United need to sign another midfielder in the summer transfer window

Martin Keown believes Jose Mourinho will look to strengthen the Manchester United in the summer.
The Red Devils limped out of the Champions League on Tuesday night following a 2-1 loss to La Liga giants Sevilla in the second leg of their last-16 clash.
Manchester United signed Serbia international Nemanja Matic in a £40m deal from defending Premier League champions Chelsea FC in the 2017 summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old has helped to provide the Manchester United defence with more protection given his experience of winning two Premier League titles with Chelsea FC.
Matic has partnered Paul Pogba in midfield on a number of occasions this term, but the French star has struggled to fulfill his defensive duties to prompt criticism of the club record signing.
Former Arsenal defender Keown believes Manchester United need to sign another midfielder in the summer transfer window to further improve Mourinho’s options in the middle of the park.
“Against Sevilla, United were exposed in midfield,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“This will be an area I am sure Mourinho will want to revisit in the summer – especially given the retirement of Michael Carrick.”
Manchester United are in second place in the Premier League table but 16 points behind runaway leaders Manchester City.
The Red Devils haven’t won the Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.
Manchester United signed Chile international Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal with Arsenal in the January transfer window.
