Valencia are eager to re-sign Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata, according to a report

Valencia are interested in a deal to re-sign Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata, according to a report in England.
The Sun, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that Valencia are keeping tabs on the Spain international with a view to a potential swoop to sign the Manchester United star.
The same article states that Valencia would prefer to sign Mata on a free transfer at the end of the Premier League season when his Manchester United contract expires.
According to the same story, los Che could struggle to match Mata’s £130,000-a-week wages if Valencia are to bring the 30-year-old back to Spain.
Mata scored 46 times in 176 games in all competitions during his four seasons in the Valencia first-team.
Chelsea FC signed Mata in a £23.5m deal from Valencia in the 2011 summer transfer window under Andre Villas-Boas.
The Spanish star was named Chelsea FC’s player of the year in 2011 and 2012 before Jose Mourinho sold Mata to Manchester United in a £37.5m deal.
He won the Champions League, the Europa League and the FA Cup during his spell at Stamford Bridge.
The Manchester United star has secured more silverware at Old Trafford after winning the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League.
