Man United scouting 19-year-old defender amid transfer talk – report

Manchester United are keeping tabs on Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney ahead of a possible transfer swoop for the teenager, according to reports.

The Daily Mail are claiming that the Red Devils are keeping a close eye on the teenager’s development north of the border as Jose Mourinho ponders a summer transfer swoop for the young defender.

The report states that Manchester United’s head of scouting Marcel Bout has already watched Tierney in action this season as the futures of Luke Shaw and Matteo Darmian at Old Trafford remain unclear.

The same story claims that the Scottish club are likely to want a transfer fee of more than £10m for the 19-year-old defender.

Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of new players as the summer transfer window draws ever nearer.
