Manchester United will find it difficult to sign Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar and AC Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli this summer, according to a report in Italy.
Italian media website Caciomercato have provided an update on Manchester United’s pursuit of the three Serie A defenders in the summer transfer window.
The same article quotes a story in the Daily Mail that listed eight players Jose Mourinho wants to sign this summer to improve his squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
However, the Italian transfer experts believe Napoli, Inter Milan and AC Milan will be reluctant to sell Koulibaly, Skriniar and Romagnoli in the current transfer market.
The Senegal international helped Napoli to finish in second place in the Serie A table and has been previously linked with a move to Chelsea FC.
Skriniar, 22, scored four goals in 44 games in all competitions for Inter last season to establish himself as a top defender in Italy.
Italy international Romagnoli netted three times in 43 games for Milan last term to get more experience under his belt.
Manchester United are in second place in the Premier League table to secure a spot in the Champions League for the second successive season under Mourinho.
