Man United look to hijack Arsenal’s attempt to sign 26-year-old striker – report
Manchester United are interested in signing Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports

Manchester United could turn to Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette if a deal to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid fails to materialise, according to reports in France.
French newspaper L’Equipe, as quoted by the Sun, is reporting that the Red Devils view the 26-year-old striker as a potential alternative to the Spain international as Real Madrid refuse to budge on their valuation of the striker.
The same article states that Chelsea, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are all interested in the France striker after his proposed move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid fell through.
However, los Rojiblancos have retained their interest in the 26-year-old striker as Lacazette considers the possibility of not playing for the next six months after Atletico’s transfer ban was upheld.
Lacazette has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League over the past three seasons but a deal has failed to materialise for the prolific Ligue 1 striker.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move to sign Real Madrid striker Morata as Jose Mourinho looks to improve his attacking options.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have been widely reported as trying to sign Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon this summer.
