Real Madrid president sends message to Man United fans about Alvaro Morata
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez claims Manchester United are still to enter into negotiations with the club about Alvaro Morata

Florentino Perez has claimed that Real Madrid still have not entered into negotiations with Manchester United about the sale of Alvaro Morata.
The Spain international has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks as Jose Mourinho looks to add more firepower to his side ahead of the 2017-18 season.
Morata was thought to have been made the Manchester United manager’s priority in the summer transfer window given the Red Devils’ well-documented struggles in front of goal last term.
Indeed, the Europa League winners were thought to be closing in on a deal to sign the 24-year-old after the striker cut his honeymoon short to push through a transfer to Old Trafford.
However, Real Madrid president Perez has delivered a worrying update for Manchester United fans about Morata’s potential move to the 20-time English champions this summer.
“I think we’re not in negotiations with Manchester United, which is not to say that there are [not] people around you who are talking, which is normal,” Perez told esRadio, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
“I have read that we have reached an agreement I do not know how many million times, but it isn’t true.”
Morata scored 15 times in 26 appearances in La Liga last season but the Spain international was largely used as an impact player from the bench.
The Spanish forward sealed a return to Real Madrid from Serie A giants Juventus in a £29m deal last summer.
