Man United end interest in 24-year-old La Liga striker – report
Manchester United have pulled out of the race to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to reports in the Spanish media

Manchester United have ended their interest in signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the English media.
The Manchester Evening News, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Manchester United have decided to focus their energy on signing Belgium striker Lukaku in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that the Red Devils want to capitalise on Chelsea’s inability to get a deal over the line for the 24-year-old centre-forward this summer.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Lukaku was always Manchester United’s top target in the summer transfer window despite lengthy negotiations with Real Madrid to sign Morata.
Lukaku scored 25 times in 36 games in the Premier League to finish as the division’s second-highest goal-scorer behind Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Manchester United boss Mourinho sanctioned the sale of Lukaku to Everton in a £27m deal in 2014 summer transfer window during his spell in charge of the current Premier League champions.
The Red Devils have only signed Sweden international Victor Lindelof in a £30.7m deal from Portuguese champions Benfica last month.
