Man United fail with £61m bid for top 23-year-old Serie A striker – report
Manchester United have had a £61m bid for Andrea Belotti rejected by Torino, according to reports in Italy

Manchester United have had a bid to sign Andrea Belotti rejected by Torino, according to reports in Italy.
Tuttosport, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Manchester United have made an attempt to sign the Italy international in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that the Red Devils made an offer in the region of £61m to sign Serie A’s prolific striker but Torino knocked back Manchester United’s bid.
The club’s president Urbano Cairo has previously stated that Torino won’t consider selling Belotti unless the centre-forward’s £81 contract release clause is met.
Manchester United have been left frustrated in their attempts to sign a proven striker in the summer transfer window after previously being linked with Antoine Griezmann and Romelu Lukaku.
Belotti scored 28 times in 38 games in all competitions last season in what was his breakthrough campaign at the Serie A club.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season but still managed to qualify for the Champions League after the Red Devils were 2-0 winners against Dutch side Ajax in the Europa League final.
