Jose Mourinho remains a big admirer of Arjen Robben but Manchester United are unlikely to sign the Bayern Munich winger, according to reports in England.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the Manchester United manager is a big fan of the experienced 33-year-old Netherlands winger.

The Red Devils are looking to make improvements to their options in wide areas after signing a centre-half, defensive midfielder and a striker this summer so far.

Mourinho has experience of working alongside Robben during his first spell in charge of Chelsea before the Dutch winger completed a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are unlikely to make a move to sign the Bayern Munich star despite Robben’s wealth of experience.

Netherlands international Robben scored 16 times and made nine assists in 37 appearances in all competitions in the 2016-17 season.

Manchester United have signed Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic in the summer transfer window so far.

The Red Devils were impressive 4-0 winners against West Ham United in their Premier League opener at Old Trafford last weekend.

Manchester United will make the trip to Swansea City in their next Premier League game at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
