Man United sent warning about signing top Premier League midfielder – report
Manchester United have been warned off a potential bid to sign Eric Dier from Tottenham, say reports

Manchester United have been warned that Tottenham Hotspur have “no intention” of selling Eric Dier this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is claiming that Spurs are refusing to put a price on the England midfielder because they are not planning to sell him in the summer transfer window.
The same report states that Manchester United are keen on signing Dier this summer and the Red Devils believe that he would be open to a move to Old Trafford.
However, it is also claimed that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will not listen to any bids for Dier this summer as he bids to lead his team to the title next season.
The story also suggests, however, that there is concern amongst the Tottenham squad about the club’s supposed £100,000 a week “ceiling” on wages.
Manchester United are thought to be keen on signing the 23-year-old midfielder and a move would certainly make sense for the Red Devils, who will be looking for a long-term successor to Michael Carrick in central midfield.
However, it appears that the Red Devils could face a serious fight on their hands to convince Spurs to sell the midfielder.
