Man United told title rival won’t entertain bid for 23-year-old star – report
Tottenham Hotspur are determined not to sell Eric Dier in the summer transfer window amid interest from Manchester United, according to reports

Tottenham Hotspur won’t be entertaining any bids for Eric Dier this summer, according to reports in the English media.
The Guardian is reporting that Spurs are unwilling to consider the prospect of losing Dier to a title rival this summer after the north London outfit finished in second place in the Premier League last term.
The same article states that Manchester United are interested in signing the 23-year-old midfielder but could face a tough task even getting Spurs to the negotiating table given their firm stance on Dier.
According to the report, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino values Dier “enormously” and the Argentinian coach won’t contemplate the prospect of selling the former Sporting Libson defender to raise funds for the club’s new stadium.
The England star has established himself as one of the most-promising midfield prospects in the Premier League despite initially starting his Tottenham career as a defender.
Dier has established a solid partnership with Kenya international Victor Wanyama as the defensive midfield duo give their more attacking-minded team-mates more license to be creative.
Manchester United have also been linked with a move to Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic and AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho this summer.
