Man United favourites to sign key Chelsea star in controversial transfer
Manchester United's odds on signing Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic have tumbled, according to the bookmakers

Nemanja Matic is being heavily backed to complete a move to Manchester United this summer, according to bookmakers Betway.
The Serbia international has been linked with a controversial switch to Manchester United from Premier League champions Chelsea this summer.
Matic spent two-and-a-half seasons at Stamford Bridge under Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho following a return from Portuguese side Benfica in 2013.
The defensive midfielder played a key role under Mourinho as Chelsea won the Premier League title in the 2014-15 season.
However, Matic struggled along with the rest of his Chelsea team-mates in the following campaign as the west London side limped to a tenth-placed finish.
The Serbian midfielder played regularly under Antonio Conte last term, although the Italian coach rotated between Matic and Cesc Fabregas.
And Manchester United fans will be encouraged to hear that bookmakers have priced Matic at 11/8 to move to Old Trafford, with the market attracting plenty of interest.
Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Nemanja Matic is edging ever closer to the exit door at Stamford Bridge and he’s emerged as a popular bet at 11/8 to move to Man United this summer.
“The Serbian is 4/7 to stay at the Bridge, but with Tiemoue Bakayoko rumoured to be very close to signing for Chelsea, that price could drift significantly over the next 24 hours.”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term.
The Red Devils secured their place in the Champions League thanks to a 2-0 win against Ajax in the Europa League final.
