Insider claims Man United need to offer £45m to secure third summer signing
Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol warns Manchester United that it will cost around £45m to sign Ivan Perisic this summer

Manchester United need to make an offer of £45m to secure the signing of Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move to sign the Croatia international from the Serie A giants in the summer transfer window.
Indeed, Jose Mourinho is thought to have made signing Perisic one of his top targets this summer ahead of the return of the Premier League.
However, Manchester United have failed to match Inter Milan’s valuation of the 28-year-old after failing with a £39m bid for the experienced attacker.
But Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol appeared to indicate that Manchester United would sign Perisic this summer once the Red Devils increase their offer.
“Manchester United are stepping up their efforts to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan,” Solhekol told Sky Sports News HQ on Wednesday morning.
“A deal is getting closer even though Inter have stuck to their £48m asking price all along.
“Perisic is with the rest of the Inter squad at their training camp in the north of Italy.
“United are trying to do a deal before Inter fly to China next week. United’s last offer was £39m – they need to raise that to about £45m to get their man.”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season but still managed to end their first campaign under Mourinho on a high.
The Red Devils added the Europa League to the EFL Cup after Manchester United were 2-0 winners against Dutch giants Ajax in the European final at Wembley.
