Man United still confident of signing 28-year-old – report
Manchester United are optimistic that a deal to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic will be completed this summer, according to reports

Manchester United are still confident about signing Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic despite failing to match Inter Milan’s valuation, according to reports in the English media.
The Independent is reporting that Manchester United are still confident of securing a deal to bring in the Croatia international in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that the Red Devils are close to agreeing a fee of around £45m to land the Croatian winger as Jose Mourinho looks to complete his third deal of the summer.
According to the Independent, Manchester United have already agreed terms with Perisic but are still some millions short of Inter’s asking price for the experienced winger.
Manchester United agreed a £75m fee with Everton to sign Romelu Lukaku at the weekend as Wayne Rooney moved in the other direction back to his boyhood club.
The Red Devils have also signed Sweden international Victor Lindelof in a £30.7m deal from Portuguese champions Benfica last month.
Mourinho led Manchester United to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League table last season but still managed to win the EFL Cup and the Europa League trophies.
