Ed Woodward working on Man United’s third signing of the summer – report
Manchester United are ramping up their efforts to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan before next week, say reports

Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has been instructed to try and tie up a deal to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan before the end of the week, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Woodward has remained in the UK to work on negotiations for the 28-year-old winger after Manchester United’s squad jetted out to California for their pre-season tour.
The same report claims that Manchester United are aiming to complete a deal to sign Perisic from Inter Milan before the Italian club fly out to China next week.
The story also states that the Red Devils have already had bids of £36m and £39m rejected by the Italian club, with the Red Devils said to now be lining up a £45m bid.
The article also claims that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign up to three more players before the start of his second season in charge at the club.
The Italian club are said to value Perisic at around £48m so it remains to be seen whether Manchester United’s apparent next offer of £45m will tempt them into selling.
