Manchester United have submitted a €70m (£62m) offer to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos this summer, according to reports in the Brazilian media.
Globo Esporte is reporting that the Red Devils have submitted a huge offer to sign the Brazil international in the summer transfer window.
Marquinhos has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the past but a deal for the South American has failed to materialise – so far.
Now, according to the Brazilian media outlet, Manchester United have launched a €70m (£62m) offer for the PSG defender despite signing a centre-half already this summer.
Sweden centre-half Victor Lindeof completed a reported £30.7m deal from Portuguese champions to Manchester United last week.
Jose Mourinho had to cope with a number of defensive crises in the 2016-17 season, which could go some way to explaining the Manchester United boss’ desire to reinforce his defensive options this summer.
