Jose Mourinho wants to keep valuable 27-year-old asset at Man United – report
Jose Mourinho doesn't want Manchester United to sell Matteo Darmian in the summer transfer window, according to reports

Jose Mourinho doesn’t want Matteo Darmian to leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to reports in England.
ESPN, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Italy international is attracting a lot of interest from Serie A clubs ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.
The same article states that Italian champions Juventus and 2010 European Cup winners Inter Milan are both interested in recruiting Darmian this summer.
Juventus, of course, are facing the real prospect of losing both of their first-choice full-backs Dani Alves and Alex Sandro in the summer transfer window.
However, ESPN believe that Mourinho would be reluctant to allow Darmian to leave Old Trafford after the versatile defender proved himself to be a valuable utility player last term.
Darmian was in and out of the first-team under the Portuguese coach but still managed to make 29 appearances in all competitions in the 2016-17 season.
The Italian defender moved to Manchester United from Serie A club Torino in a £12m deal in the 2015 summer transfer window under Mourinho’s predecessor Louis van Gaal.
