Ian Wright: Mesut Ozil would have frightening impact at Man United
The Arsenal legend is worried about Mesut Ozil's potential impact at Manchester United

Ian Wright admits Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil would be a “frightening” addition to the Manchester United team.
The Gunners midfielder has been linked with a potential move to the Red Devils in recent months after entering the final 12 months of his current deal at The Emirates.
The 29-year-old could leave Arsenal for nothing next summer unless the Gunners manage to convince Ozil to extend his contract before the end of the season or offload the World Cup winner in a cut-price deal in the January transfer window.
Ozil made a slow start to the 2017-18 Premier League campaign but the German playmaker has found his verve over the past few weeks in the English top flight with his future up in the air at the north London club.
Indeed, the former Real Madrid midfielder has scored two goals and made five assists in his last five Premier League games.
While Ozil has often been criticised for his poor work ethic in the Arsenal team, ex-Gunners striker Wright believes Manchester United would have the tools to allow the German star have free rein in Jose Mourinho’s midfield.
“We’ve seen it sometimes with Arsenal,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“Ozil can’t drag a team up by the laces but he’s the kind of player if you stick him in and the team is doing well, he will be unbelievable. It frightens me to know he could end up at Man United.”
Ozil worked with Manchester United boss Mourinho during three seasons at Real Madrid before his £42.5m move to Arsenal in the 2013 summer transfer window.
