Jose Mourinho replies when asked if Man United are making big January signings
Jose Mourinho leaves the door open for Manchester United to make some significant signings in January

Jose Mourinho has left the door open for Manchester United to make some significant signings in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks as the mid-season window draws ever nearer.
With Mourinho’s men trailing Manchester City by a huge distance in the Premier League title race heading into the hectic festive period, there will inevitably be plenty of speculation linking the Red Devils with some big names in the coming weeks.
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil and Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann are two names to have been touted as targets for the Red Devils in recent weeks.
And although Mourinho says that he is not the biggest fan of the January transfer window, the Portuguese coach has left the door open to making some significant signings in the new year.
Asked if he will make any signings next month, Mourinho told a news conference at Carrington: “I’m not a big defender of the January market but there are players and situations that sometimes you have the chance to do and you shouldn’t lose that chance.
“I don’t like the January market just to buy (for the sake of buying).
“But if you can buy one you would buy in June, with the chance a few months before, then great.”
Manchester United are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League clash against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils are aiming to win the Premier League for the first time this season since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
