Chelsea star backed to follow Man United star’s example and rekindle Mourinho relationship – report
Nemanja Matic will patch up any differences with Jose Mourinho as Chelsea midfielder nears Man United move, according to reports

Nemanja Matic’s relationship with Jose Mourinho wouldn’t present a problem in any Manchester United deal to sign the Chelsea midfielder, according to reports in the English media.
The Manchester Evening News is reporting that the reunion between Matic and Mourinho would be seamless despite the Serbia international struggling badly in the Portuguese coach’s final season at Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old’s performance level suffered an alarming dip after the defensive midfielder had played a crucial role in Chelsea winning the Premier League title and the EFL Cup under Mourinho in the 2014-15 season.
The same article states that Matic can follow the example of Juan Mata after the former Chelsea midfielder patched up his relationship with Mourinho to become one of the manager’s most-reliable players in the Manchester United team last season.
Indeed, Mata was named in Manchester United’s starting line-up for their 2-0 win against Dutch giants Ajax in the Europa League final to secure a return to the Champions League.
Mourinho signed Matic in a £21m deal from Portuguese champions Benfica in January 2014.
