Man United told to forget about signing 29-year-old Serie A star
Serie A expert James Horncastle rules out Radja Nainggolan leaving AS Roma in the summer transfer window

Radja Nainggolan won’t be leaving AS Roma despite interest from the Premier League, according to James Horncastle.
The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move to the English top flight over the past two seasons.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was thought to be keen on bringing the versatile midfielder to Stamford Bridge last summer but a deal failed to materialise.
Now, Manchester United are reported to be monitoring the 29-year-old’s contract negotiations with AS Roma as Jose Mourinho looks to improve his midfield options.
Nainggolan would be a good fit considering his experience in the Champions League as Manchester United prepare for a return to Europe’s premier club competition.
Speaking to Football Weekly about the prospect of Nainggolan potentially leaving Roma this summer, Serie A expert Horncastle appeared to play down the chances of a transfer happening this summer.
“He loves Roma. He loves living there. He made his home very early,” Horncastle said.
“If he was going to go, you’d have thought it would have been last summer.”
Nainggolan has scored 11 goals and made five assists in 37 appearances in the 2016-17 Serie A campaign.
Manchester United have only signed Sweden international Victor Lindelof in a £30.7m deal from Portuguese champions Benfica so far this summer.
