Alvaro Morata has decided to sign for Manchester United from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet Deportes Cuatro is reporting that the 24-year-old striker has settled on a move to Old Trafford to link up with Jose Mourinho at the Premier League outfit.
Morata’s future has been a relentless source of speculation in recent weeks due to his lack of playing time at Real Madrid this season.
The Spanish forward was limited to just 14 La Liga starts for Real Madrid but still managed to score 15 goals and make four assists to help Zinedine Zidane’s side win the title.
Morata has been touted as a target for a number of clubs this summer but it would seem that Manchester United is his preferred destination, if the latest reports in Spain are to be believed.
Morata was a late substitute as Real Madrid thrashed his former club Juventus 4-1 to win their 12th Champions League title on Saturday night.
Manchester United secured a return to the Champions League next season after beating Ajax in the Europa League final last month.
