Man United agree personal terms with 28-year-old winger – report
Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Croatian winger Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, say reports
Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Ivan Perisic ahead of his proposed transfer from Inter Milan this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Independent is reporting that Perisic is edging closer toward being confirmed as a Manchester United player, with Jose Mourinho said to be keen on completing the vast majority of the club’s transfer business before the start of July.
The same story claims that although personal terms have been agreed between the club and the player, Manchester United are yet to settle on a transfer fee with Inter Milan.
The report also states that Inter are thought to be holding out for a transfer fee of around £50m for the 28-year-old Croatian winger.
That figure is believed to be around £15m more than what Manchester United are prepared to pay to sign Perisic, but the Red Devils’ hopes are boosted by the fact that the player is reportedly very keen to sign for the Red Devils.
Perisic scored 11 goals and made eight assists in 36 Serie A games for Inter Milan last season.
Manchester United confirmed their first summer signing last weekend when they announced they had agreed a fee with Benfica to land defender Victor Lindelof.
