Jose Mourinho handed a list containing around 25 Manchester United summer transfer targets to Ed Woodward, according to reports in the British media.
The Independent is reporting that the Portuguese coach drew up an exhaustive list of potential transfer targets this summer ahead of his second season in charge at Old Trafford.
The same article claims that Mourinho wanted to make sure that he had all angles covered, with plenty of alternatives in every position he wants to strengthen.
The Red Devils are believed to be on the lookout for around three or four new signings this summer as Mourinho prepares his team for a return to the Champions League for next season.
Manchester United have so far only confirmed one new signing this summer, with the capture of Benfica defender Victor Lindelof.
The Red Devils continue to be linked with a host of attacking players, with Alvaro Morata and Ivan Perisic two of the names regularly linked with moves to Old Trafford in recent days.
Mourinho will be hoping to see his side mount a serious assault on the Premier League title next season after their disappointing sixth-placed finish last term.
