Insider reveals Man United won’t agree deal with top striker
Manchester United won't be offering Zlatan Ibrahimovic a new contract, according to reports in British media

Manchester United won’t be offering Zlatan Ibrahimovic a new contract, according to Simon Stone.
The BBC Sport reporter has taken to Twitter to claim that Manchester United will part company with Ibrahimovic in the coming weeks.
The former Sweden international’s current deal is set to expire in the summer transfer window after the 35-year-old moved to Old Trafford last summer.
Ibrahimovic completed a free transfer to Manchester United from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in 2016 following Jose Mourinho’s appointment.
The 35-year-old scored 28 times in all competitions to become Manchester United’s chief source of goals in an otherwise disappointing season in front of goal for the Red Devils.
Ibrahimovic suffered a serious knee injury in the Europa League quarter-final which cut the striker’s season short.
BBC Sport’s Stone doesn’t expect Ibrahimovic to remain at Old Trafford ahead of the 2017-18 season given his age and his current injury setback.
Stone wrote on Twitter: “Don’t expect Zlatan to be on @ManUtd retained list tomorrow. Doesn’t make economic sense to pay huge ££ to someone who can’t play.”
