Jose Mourinho wants 31-year-old to command Man United defence – report
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci, according to a report

Jose Mourinho would love to sign AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci to command his Manchester United defence, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils boss is a huge admirer of the Italy international following his spell at Serie A champions Juventus.
The same article states that his current club AC Milan would be reluctant to sell the 31-year-old centre-half given the defender arrived in a £37.45m deal.
According to the same story, Mourinho views Bonucci as a potential leader of his Manchester United rearguard if the Red Devils were able to complete a swoop to sign the Italian centre-half.
The 20-time English champions have recruited Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred, FC Porto defender Diogo Dalot and veteran goalkeeper Lee Grant this summer.
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last term to secure their best finish since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May following Eden Hazard’s winner.
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge of the Red Devils.
