New Man United signing sent blunt warning ahead of next season
Romelu Lukaku will have to hit the ground running at Manchester United next season, warns Ray Wilkins

Ray Wilkins has warned Romelu Lukaku that he will have to hit the ground running at Manchester United or face the wrath of Red Devils fans.
The striker is set to become the club’s second signing of the summer after Manchester United agreed a £75m fee with Everton for the forward.
Lukaku was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea before he opted to join Manchester United ahead of returning to his former employers.
The 24-year-old forward will be expected to lead the line at Old Trafford in Jose Mourinho’s second season in charge.
And former Chelsea coach Wilkins has warned that Lukaku will have to impress from the off or find himself under intense pressure at Old Trafford.
Speaking on talkSPORT on Monday, Wilkins said: “Manchester United supporters are wonderful supporters.
“But if things don’t quite go your way in the first couple of months, then everything can change.
“Unfortunately when you go to these big massive clubs is that they’re so born on winning and being successful, that you have to be the next one to bring that success to the club.
“Lukaku going in as a centre-forward, he’s replacing two people.
“Ibrahimovic, who got 28 goals last year and Wayne Rooney, an absolute hero, an idol of the Manchester United supporters.
“So he has to hit the ground running straight away and he has to score goals.”
Manchester United jetted off to the United States on Sunday to get ready for their pre-season tour of America.
The Red Devils are gearing up for a return to the Champions League next season after Mourinho led the Blues to the Europa League title last term.
