Luke Shaw gives latest Man United transfer update on his future
The Manchester United full-back believes he still has a future at Old Trafford

Luke Shaw is determined to prove that he has the talent to succeed at Manchester United.
The England international has 12 months left to run on his current deal with Manchester United to raise questions about his long-term future at the 20-time English champions.
Shaw could leave the Red Devils on a free transfer next summer unless Manchester United decide to cash in on the injury prone left-back this summer or in January.
The 22-year-old has struggled to justify his £27m transfer fee over the past four seasons after Louis van Gaal signed the England defender from Southampton in 2015.
Shaw suffered a horrendous double leg break in Manchester United’s 2-1 loss to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League in September 2015 to sideline the defender for over nine months.
Manager Jose Mourinho has been regularly critical of the Manchester United defender due to his lack of commitment on and off the pitch over the past two seasons.
However, Shaw is determined to forge a successful Manchester United career despite his problems over the past few seasons.
“That’s what’s most frustrating,” Shaw told The Guardian.
“You don’t want to be in this situation but I know I have got the quality to [truly] become a Manchester United player. Because at the moment it would be easy to sort of give up, after what happened in the last year or so.””
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last term to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
