Manchester United are the favourites to sign Malcom and Marco Verratti this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Manchester Evening News is quoting the latest odds from bookmakers BetStars, who claim that the Red Devils are leading the race to sign both Bordeaux winger Malcom and Paris Saint-German star Verratti this summer.

Manchester United are understood to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

The same report says that the Red Devils are likely to wrap up deals for both Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and FC Porto full-back Diogo Dalot in the coming days.

The article also claims that Mourinho personally watched Verratti in action last season as the Red Devils weigh up a summer move for the Italy international.

Malcom, meanwhile, has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with both Arsenal and Liverpool FC having been touted as possible destinations for the Brazilian winger in the past.

Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last season but missed out on a trophy after they were beaten by Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final.
