Man United are confident that Marcus Rashford will sign a new contract at the club, say reports

Manchester United are confident that Marcus Rashford will stay at Old Trafford and commit his future to the Red Devils, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Star is reporting that the Red Devils are hopeful that the England striker will put pen to paper on a new deal for Rashford to commit his future to the club.

The same story says that Rashford could be set to sign a new deal worth as much as £300,000 a week to commit his long-term future to the Red Devils.

It is claimed in the same article that Rashford is committed to the Old Trafford outfit and could sign his new contract before the end of the month.

The same article says that Manchester United see Rashford as one of the major players in their future as they look to revamp their squad this summer.

Rashford scored 10 goals and made six assists in 33 Premier League games for the Red Devils this season.

The Red Devils are set to be linked with a whole host of players this summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.

Manchester United ended up in sixth place in the Premier League table this season as they missed out on Champions League qualification.
