Man United to offer Anthony Martial in bid to sign 29-year-old – report
Man United are prepared to offer Anthony Martial a deal to sign Jerome Boateng from Bayern Munich, say reports

Manchester United are prepared to offer Anthony Martial in a deal to sign Jerome Boateng from Bayern Munich this summer, according to reports in the German media.
German outlet Bild, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Red Devils are prepared to let the 22-year-old striker leave Old Trafford if it means that they are able to conclude a deal to sign the 29-year-old defender.
Martial’s future has been a constant source of speculation this summer due to his lack of playing time under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United last season.
The same report says that Manchester United plan to use Martial as bait to try and sign a world-class centre-half before the transfer window closes next Thursday.
According to the same story, Boateng is keen on a move away from Bayern Munich for a new challenge and Martial could head to Bayern as part of the deal.
Manchester United are still believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the title next season.
The Red Devils have so far only signed Diogo Dalot, Fred and Lee Grant ahead of next season.
