Napoli want to sign 28-year-old Man United star – report
Napoli owner Aurelios De Laurentiis confirms his interest in signing Man United defender Matteo Darmian

Napoli want to sign Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian, the Serie A club’s owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed.
The Italy international has been linked with a potential exit at Old Trafford this summer after Darmian struggled to hold down a regular place in Jose Mourinho’s team.
The versatile defender has been linked with a potential move to Serie A champions Juventus over the past few months but a deal has failed to materialise so far.
Manchester United could use Darmian as a potential makeweight in a deal to sign Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, who has been a long term target for Mourinho.
The Red Devils have already signed Portuguese defender Diogo Dalot to improve their full-back options to push Darmian down the pecking order at the 20-time English champions.
Napoli owner De Laurentiis has admitted that Manchester United defender Darmian is a player that has interesed the Serie A side over the past few transfer windows.
“We have asked for Damrian on a loan with a right to sign next summer,” De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss.
Manchester United ended up in second spot in the Premier League table last term to secure their best finish since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final last season after Eden Hazard’s winner from the penalty spot.
