Man United are interested in a deal to sign Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan, according to a report in Scotland

Manchester United have been informed by Lille that French goalkeeper Mike Maignan will cost €35m (£31m) to sign this summer, according to a report in Scotland.
The Daily Record is reporting that the Red Devils are interested in a potential swoop to sign the 23-year-old in the upcoming transfer window amid uncertainty surrounding David De Gea’s future.
The same article states that David De Gea has become disillusioned with Manchester United due to their reluctance to offer him a contract that would match Alexis Sanchez’s current deal.
According to the same story, the Spain international is frustrated about Ander Herrera’s departure given the defensive midfielder was a close friend of the shot stopper’s at Old Trafford.
The Daily Record go on to add that Manchester United could face competition to sign Maignan, who is also attracting interest from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and Champions League semi-finalists Ajax.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper moved to Lille from Paris Saint-Germain in 2015 after he came through the ranks in the French capital.
The France Under-21 international has been Lille’s first-choice goalkeeper in the past two seasons at the Ligue 1 side.
