Tim Sherwood names one Man United star Pep Guardiola would like to sign
Tim Sherwood believes Pep Guardiola would love to add Man United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan to his Man City squad

Tim Sherwood believes Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola would like to sign Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Armenia international has struggled to make an impression at Old Trafford since his £30m move to Manchester United from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund in the 2016 summer transfer window.
The Red Devils midfielder was unable to break into the Manchester United team until the second half of the season when the attacker helped Jose Mourinho to win the Europa League and the League Cup.
Mkhitaryan made five assists in his opening three Premier League games but the former Shakhtar Donetsk star has struggled to maintain his high standards under Mourinho this season.
Indeed, the 28-year-old playmaker hasn’t started a Premier League game since a 1-0 loss to defending Premier League champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at the end of October.
The Armenian’s future has prompted talk of a potential return to Borussia Dortmund, while Serie A giants Inter Milan have also been linked as a possible destination.
However, former Spurs boss Sherwood has claimed that Guardiola would love to add Mkhitaryan to his Manchester City squad despite having an array of talent at his disposal.
“The one player Pep would take from Man United is Mkhitaryan,” Sherwood told Sky Sports.
“He gets the ball on the half turn in the pocket. He drives at people. He is more of a maverick type.”
Manchester City are sitting 11 points clear of their closest title rivals Manchester United.
