Metro is reporting that the Manchester United manager is growing concerned about Pogba’s potential influence on the younger members of the Red Devils squad.
The same article states that Manchester United’s academy players look up to Pogba and are even in “awe” of the World Cup winner.
According to the same story, Solskjaer has adopted a softer approach to handling Pogba unlike his predecessor Jose Mourinho.
But Metro goes on report that the Norwegian head coach is wary of handing Pogba the vice-captaincy next season.
The France international’s future has been a source of relentless debate throughout the summer transfer window so far.
Pogba has been linked with a potential switch to Serie A champions Juventus and La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer.
The 26-year-old moved to Manchester United in an £89m deal from Serie A giants Juventus in the 2016 summer transfer window.
Pogba has only won the Europa League and the League Cup since his return to Manchester United under Mourinho three years ago.
Manchester United finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a place in the Champions League.
