Manchester United are set to reject any offers for Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils aren’t prepared to sell their club-record signing in the summer transfer window despite his mixed 2018-19 campaign.

The same article states that Manchester United don’t believe that Juventus have the financial resources to secure a deal for the World Cup winner ahead of the 2019-20 season.

According to the same story, the 20-time English champions would want a far greater fee than the £89m that Manchester United paid for Pogba in 2016.

The report goes on to say that Juventus would have to sell players before they could potentially put together a package for Pogba.

The 26-year-old was hit and miss throughout the 2018-19 season, raising questions about his commitment to Manchester United amid reported interest from Juventus and Real Madrid.

Pogba fell out of favour under Jose Mourinho before the France star returned to the Manchester United team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, his performances dipped in the final weeks of the season as Manchester United missed out on a top-four finish and Champions League qualification.

The Red Devils haven’t won a major trophy since 2017, when Mourinho led the club to Europa League glory.
