Manchester United want Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic in a swap deal that will see Romelu Lukaku head to Juventus this summer, according to a report
Manchester United want Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic as part of a swap deal with Juventus that would see Romelu Lukaku head to Turin, according to a report in England.
The Sunday Times is reporting that the Red Devils are still waiting for Dybala to make a decision about his future as Manchester United look to sign the Argentina international.
The same article states that the Red Devils are looking to put together a deal that would see Dybala and Mandzukic move to Old Trafford, with Lukaku heading in the other direction.
According to the same story, the Serie A champions would be happy with the prospect of signing Lukaku without a transfer fee being involved and getting two players off their wage bill.
The Sunday Times report adds that Dybala’s representatives are looking to increase the Argentina forward’s salary from £6.5m to £10m a year, while they also want commission in the region of £10m.
Manchester United have already signed Swansea City midfielder Daniel James and Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, while Harry Maguire is thought to be on the way to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term after conceding more goals than Manchester City and Liverpool FC combined last term.
