Man United set a deadline for Inter Milan to complete a deal for Romelu Lukaku, according to a report in England

Manchester United have set Inter Milan a deadline to get a deal for Romelu Lukaku over the line this summer, according to a report in England.
The Manchester Evening News is reporting that the Red Devils want Lukaku’s proposed switch to Inter to be wrapped up with enough time for Manchester United to sign a replacement.
The same article states that Manchester United rejected Inter’s £54m offer for the Belgium international last week as the Red Devils hold out for a bid around £80m.
According to the same story, the Serie A side will need to offload some players to generate the necessary funds to get a deal for Lukaku over the line.
The Manchester Evening News go on to add that Inter could sell Mauro Icardo and Radja Nainggolan in order to raise the transfer funds to complete a swoop for Lukaku.
The report states that Lille forward Nicolas Pepe could be a ready-made replacement for Lukaku should the former Chelsea FC forward link up with Antonio Conte at Inter.
Manchester United have signed Swansea City midfielder Daniel James and Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer transfer window so far.
The Red Devils will be looking to improve upon their sixth-placed finished last term.
