Man United want to complete third summer signing this week – report
Man United are looking to sign Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff this week, according to a report

Manchester United are eager to complete a deal for Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff this week, according to a report in England.
The Chronicle is reporting that Longstaff is one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top targets in the summer transfer window as the Manchester United manager looks to revamp his current squad.
The same article states Manchester United are confident that a deal can be reached to sign Longstaff from Newcastle following Rafael Benitez’s departure as manager.
According to the same story, the Red Devils would have to pay a transfer fee in the region of £25m for the promising 21-year-old midfielder in order to bring him to Old Trafford.
The report goes to suggest that Manchester United have held a long-term interest in Longstaff and the Red Devils are confident a deal can be reached to secure his signature.
Manchester United have already signed one midfielder this summer after Wales international Daniel James completed a £15m move to the Red Devils from Championship side Swansea City last month.
The 20-time English champions also brought in Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in a £50m deal at the weekend to improve their options at right-back ahead of the new season.
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2012-13.
