Manchester United are pondering a summer transfer bid to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils could make a move to try and bring the 23-year-old to Old Trafford this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his midfield options at Old Trafford.
The same report says that Milinkovic-Savic is rated at around £80m by the Italian side, and the player has attracted interest from a number of other top clubs.
The story says that Milinkovic-Savic has also been courted by the likes of Chelsea FC, Real Madrid and Juventus. The Sport Review exclusively revealed last summer that Liverpool FC were also interested.
Milinkovic-Savic already knows Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic well, having partnered with him for the Serbian national team.
The 23-year-old has scored nine goals and made two assists in 24 Serie A games for Lazio so far this season.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the summer transfer window offers Jose Mourinho the chance to further bolster his squad ahead of next season.
