Man United eye 27-year-old PSG man to fill problem position – report
Man United are interested in a deal to sign PSG full-back Thomas Meunier this summer, according to a report

Manchester United have identified Thomas Meunier as a potential recruit to replace Antonio Valencia at right-back, according to a report in England.
The Independent is reporting that the Red Devils are interested in a deal for the Paris Saint-Germain full-back to tackle a problem position in the Manchester United team.
The same article states that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to sign a right-back capable of filling Antonio Valencia’s void beyond the summer.
According to the same story, Manchester United have earmarked Aaron Wan-Bassaka and Kieran Trippier as potential recruits within the Premier League.
However, the Independent suggest 27-year-old Meunier could also be a solution in the right-back role ahead of the new 2019-20 Premier League season.
Meunier is set to become a free agent at the end of the next Ligue 1 season, so the PSG defender would be available in a cost-effective deal this summer, the story goes on to say.
However, the report adds that Meunier would want reassurances about regular first-team football before considering a permanent switch to Manchester United.
The Red Devils need a big overhaul this summer following another inconsistent Premier League campaign.
Manchester United are in a tough battle to secure a top-four finish amid competition from Arsenal, Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur.
