Toby Alderweireld is eager to complete a move to Manchester United, according to a report in Belgium

Toby Alderweireld is desperate to complete a move to Manchester United from Tottenham Hotspur before Thursday’s deadline, according to a report in Belgium.
Belgian media outlet HLN, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the World Cup semi-finalist is hoping that the Red Devils can strike a deal with Tottenham.
The same article states that Tottenham are demanding a transfer fee in the region of £60m for the 29-year-old centre-half later this week.
According to the same story, Spurs want to include France international Anthony Martial as part of the deal and Jose Mourinho is happy to allow the 22-year-old to leave.
However, the report goes on to claim that Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward is reluctant to sell Martial.
Alderweireld is widely regarded as one of the top centre-halves in the Premier League following his move to the north London side from Atletico Madrid.
The Belgium international is set to become a free agent at the end of the 2018-19 Premier League season unless Spurs decide to activate a clause in his contract.
Tottenham have the option to extend Alderweireld’s deal by an extra 12 months but the Belgian centre-half will be available to sign for £25m in the 2019 summer transfer window.
