Man United make final bid to sign 29-year-old – report
Man United have made one final offer to sign Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham, say reports

Manchester United have made a final offer to sign Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils have made a “take it or leave it” offer for the Belgian defender as they look to get a deal over the line before the transfer deadline on Thursday afternoon.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with a bid to sign the Belgian defender all summer and it seems that they are still determined to try and get their man.
The same story says that Manchester United have made it clear to Tottenham that they will not go above their £40m valuation of Alderweireld as they look to try and conclude a deal before the deadline.
According to the same article, Tottenham are holding firm on their £55m valuation of Alderweireld, and that has prompted Manchester United to draw up a list of other potential alternatives.
The list of alternatives includes Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng, according to the same story.
However, it is also stated in the same article that Spurs defender Alderweireld remains as Manchester United’s prime target ahead of the transfer deadline.
Manchester United will kick off the new campaign with a home clash against Leicester City on Friday night.
